Beyond Crayons Review

"Creativity is intelligence having fun" -Albert Einstein

My toddler loves art. He loves music, dancing, painting and coloring. He is a very active 2 year old. Constantly on the move with a short attention span. However, when he is painting the world slows down. Actually, he slows down. His entire focus is on his art work. He doesn't hear or see anything else around him. After 6 months of painting every day at home I felt it was time to get him involved in an art class to further explore in a more structured setting with other children and teachers. I called Joanne, the owner of Beyond Crayons in Chicopee. After speaking with her and hearing about her studio I knew immediately I had found the perfect art studio for him.

Upon arriving to the studio I was stunned with the creativity of the studio and the art covering the walls. It's really such a warm welcoming place for children. Since we've enrolled we have explored so much. We have painted with different tools and explored the elements of art with our hands, toys and art activities and games. We create weekly art projects and have even made new friends.

The teachers are all so experienced with children and very patient. I can imagine how difficult it can be working with the younger kids who are so easily distracted. And they are. My son included. He gets off track and starts touching all the colorful fun stuff in the classroom. Which is all so new compared to us doing art in our living room  The teachers are not only patient but accommodating to what the children want to do and are in the mood for. It has just been a really awesome experience and we both really look forward to art class every week.

I highly recommend this art studio. This review is the personal opinion of the writer. Compensation was not received for this review.
