If you have kids I am sure you know how much they are obsessed with Youtube. I think there was a running joke a few years back that our kids were all watching kids playing with toys instead of actually playing with the toys themselves. Like most parents, we try really hard to impose rules and restrictions on Youtube use and technology used in general. But when the pandemic hit last year and we were all forced to stay home and social distance, the use of technology seemed almost imperative and it became much harder to restrict them. I have four kids at home still, I work from home, and I certainly can't spend every waking hour of my life entertaining them and keeping them from fighting. So yeah, we gave in to the craze and used technology to our advantage when I needed time to myself. However, I wanted to be sure that what they were watching was actually of good quality and teaching them something. So I went ahead and compiled a list of "mom approved and mostly educational" Youtube channels from all my research in all the homeschool groups I am in. This is one you may want to save for a rainy day!
